The OSEP Center for Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) includes
a number of professionals working across the United States in universities and
organizations. These PBIS Partners are working with districts and states to
facilitate school-wide PBS by mentoring leadership teams, providing training,
and supporting systems change efforts.
Many PBIS Partners have designed PBS training curriculum and online resources
and want to provide access to this valuable information. The "Training and Technical Assistance Materials"
link provides a way for districts and states to obtain access to these materials
in a systematic way to avoid confusion and duplication of efforts.
The link is designed to assist State Coordinators, Coaches, and Trainers
in identifying resources (training materials, videos, instruments, etc.) for
training and technical assistance activities.
The Training and Technical Assistance Materials site can search through several hundred documents. You can see
all the materials by simply hitting the "Enter" key or the "Search" button at the
bottom of the page. Or you can select any of the descriptors and then hit the "Enter"
key or the "Search" button to narrow your search for materials that address specific
technical assistance issues or needs.
When you hit the "Enter" key or the "Search" button you will get a list of all
related materials with the name, a brief description, a details link, and possibly,
a "Download: Title" in blue indicating that the document is ready for immediate download.
If the material is available for immediate download, there will be a disk icon
under "Availability".
A few things to remember:
- You can see a description of every product available, but may not be able to download every product you see.
- You can narrow your search too much by choosing multiple descriptors. A single descriptor will produce a broad search. If no descriptors are entered, the search will produce a list of all materials.
- Please let us know of any problems or if the database was helpful by emailing me at kincaid@fmhi.usf.edu.
